Le Chène holiday gite sleeps up to ten in comfort
Built on the foundations of an old barn, this gite has been adapted for wheelchair users. It has been fitted with a large kitchen and dining area, plus a separate, spacious lounge, and there is more than enough room for all your friends, or the whole family! Guests at Le Chène enjoy the privacy of a patio area which gets all the afternoon sun and great sunset views across the back field. There is a BBQ for your use and parking space on-site for 4 cars. All guests have shared use of the on-site facilities, including the swimming pool (May – September), plus bicycles, badminton/basket ball court, table tennis and pool table.
The changeover day is normally Saturday, but there can be some flexibility out of high season. If you are interested in booking both gites, please contact us for our special rates.
- 5 bedrooms: 3 on the ground floor, 2 on the 1st floor (all of which can be set as can be set as ‘super king’ or 2 singles as required).
- 4 en-suite bathrooms, 1 of which is a wet room suitable for wheelchair users (level 3 mobility).

Facilities for the Disabled
Le Chène has been designed and built to be suitable for disabled users. One bedroom has an en-suite shower room and is fitted with grab rails. The room has enough space to easily turn a wheelchair, and there is space under the bed for using a hoist. There is a ramp in through the main entrance, and another offering access out to the patio at the rear. Doors for all the main rooms are suitably wide, and the living areas have been designed to give plenty of room to move and turn a wheelchair.
We can offer the use of an aquatic shower chair, and are easily ably to hire other equipment (e.g. bed hoist) locally at very reasonable prices. We hope this will minimise the amount of equipment you need to bring when you come to stay.
The accommodation also suits those who are hearing and sight impaired, and we are happy to welcome and offer assistance to make your stay as enjoyable as possible.

Prices & Booking
Prices for Le Chène start from as little as 630 euros per week, and are inclusive of all linen and on-site facilities. There is a ‘tourist tax’ of 1.20 euros per adult per night. We do not charge a security deposit, but will request a 20% booking deposit, with the balance of payment a month in advance of your arrival. It may sometimes be possible to accommodate a larger group than stated – please ask.
